Chicken stock is used as a bases for many sauces and other meals to enhance their flavor. If you are used to buy it, you won’t need to any more after you’ve seen this simple recipe for tasty homemade chicken stock. It’s made from chicken bones or carcass, some vegetables and herbs.
There really isn’t much work involved, as all you need to do is chop the vegetables and put them in a large pot with chicken to cook for about 2 hours. You can add some salt and whole pepper to taste. When ready you can freeze the stock in cubes to have it at hand whenever you need it.
Say goodbye to store bought chicken stock.

1 Chicken carcass
1 Quarter of a Celery
1 Large Carrot
2 Bay leaves
1 Sprig of Thyme
(Salt and pepper to taste if you wish)
