When temperatures start to rise early in the morning, you probably don’t feel like having something hot for breakfast. This simple and savory recipe seems perfect for summer morning: cucumber with Greek yogurt and sunflower seeds.
For this simple and quick to prepare breakfast you need
1 teaspoon raw honey
1 container (6 ounces) plain nonfat Greek yogurt
1/4 small cucumber
2 tablespoons sunflower seeds
1 pinch sea salt
1 pinch chili powder
1/4 teaspoon toasted sesame oil
1 pinch garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon chopped chives (optional)
By the original recipe this breakfast is supposed to be served on a plate with yogurt in the middle, surrounded with sliced cucumbers and topped with seasoning. But I prefer cutting cucumber in small cubes and mix everything together in a bowl.
Whichever way you prefer serving it, I’m sure you will like this breakfast.
